Organic clary sage hydrosol is a unique floral mist that is prominent in formulations for women. This hydrosol may be used as an herbaceous skin toner or blended into your favorite DIY body care recipe to take advantage of the numerous properties of clary sage.
Our organic clary sage hydrosol is gentle and calming with an herbaceous and bittersweet aroma. This hydrosol is much more subdued than the essential oil, and the scent can be described as grassy and almost tea-like.
This astringent hydrosol is often used in women’s skin care formulas, or as a fixative for top note essential oils in aroma sprays. A wonderful herbal mist for those times when we are overwhelmed, clary sage is emotionally calming. Some consider the aroma to be very sensual.
Organic clary sage hydrosol is mostly made up of esters and alcohols. It has similar constituents to lavender, and they are often used together. Clary sage also blends well with citrus essential oils, and with floral notes such as rose and jasmine for a pleasing aromatherapy spray. Clary sage is suitable for all skin types and is particularly favorable to those with oily skin.
Our clary sage hydrosol is produced via water-steam distillation of Salvia sclarea leaves and flowers. Suitable for cosmetic use.

The 3oz. size comes in an amber glass bottle with a mister top. Our 8oz., 16 oz., 64 oz., and 1 gallon bulk sizes come in plastic bottles without misters.
