Elder is a perennial shrub that is native to Europe, northern Africa, parts of Asia, and North America. This member of the Caprifoliaceae family has hollow young stems, pinnate leaflets, and panicles of white flowers that ripen into dark, black berries. Elder has a far-reaching historical use surrounding its healthful properties and folkloric beliefs.

Elder Flower: These flowers are a pure diaphoretic and are frequently infused as a tea or incorporated into herbal blends. They have a long history of use in traditional European medicine. Elder flowers have an affinity for supporting bronchial wellness.
