Joint Care Extract

Maintaining healthy joint function is imperative to engaging in favorite activities like hiking, biking, skiing, and dancing. The importance is more pronounced as time passes and ages increase, and we work to preserve our self-sufficiency. This blend is formulated with botanicals typically utilized to soothe and comfort occasional aches and pains, and to promote normal musculoskeletal functioning.

Our joint care extract blend can be combined with juice or water or taken directly on the tongue and includes:

Devil’s Claw: This root was traditionally used by southern African tribes as a tonic herb for digestive complaints, minor joint complaints, and for external topical use. Introduced to Europe early in the twentieth century, devil’s claw has become a frequented botanical in traditional European herbalism. It is commonly employed to mitigate periodic aches and pains and to bolster normal musculoskeletal functioning.

Ginger: A warming and aromatic root, ginger is widely cultivated in many countries around the world. It has a long history of use both in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), where it is considered energetically hot and acrid, and in Ayurvedic medicine which considers ginger energetically pungent and sweet. 

Turmeric: Curcuma longa has been utilized for millennia and is considered energetically hot. It has been incorporated into Ayurveda and TCM for its healthful properties. Turmeric root’s main constituent, curcumin, is thought to be responsible for the rhizome’s vivid color. Turmeric supports healthy joint mobility.*

Yucca: Yucca glauca derives its botanical name “glauca” from the Latin “glaucus” meaning to have a pale or bluish-green appearance. It has many traditional uses with its flowers and seed pods being used as food, its leaves used in weaving, and the roots for their healthful benefits. This revered root is often made into extract to harness the wellness properties within.

Organic alcohol, water, organic devil’s claw root, fresh organic ginger root, fresh organic turmeric root, and yucca root.

• 1 oz. and 2 oz. extracts come in amber glass bottles with a dropper.
• 8 oz. size comes in an amber glass bottle with a plastic screw cap and does not include a dropper.
• 32 oz. extracts come in plastic bottles with a plastic screw cap.
