Ylang ylang hydrosol carries a more subdued floral aroma, having earthier tones when compared to the flowery essential oil. With a beautifully light scent, Canaga odorata make an outstanding replacement for water in any body care formulation from lotions and masks, to shampoos and toners.
Often known as the flower of flowers, ylang ylang flourishes in the rainforest, and as the tree matures, it fills up with graceful, intoxicating blooms. Ylang ylang has been used for its ability to support skin health, and it is an incredibly popular ingredient in perfumes.
This floral hydrosol is a subdued version of the essential oil; sweet and intoxicating. Considered a calming and emotionally uplifting floral, ylang ylang makes a unique base for bedtime aroma blends. It is prized for its balancing effects on combination or oily skin, and can be used as a daily toner.
Ylang ylang hydrosol matches well with many different scent families. For a floral or fruity blend, play with essential oils such as geranium, jasmine, or litsea cubeba. For an earthier aroma blend, try adding amyris or sandalwood essential oils.
Our ylang ylang hydrosol is produced via water-steam distillation of Cananga odorata flowers. Suitable for cosmetic use.
